Ajinkya is deeply rooted in the classical tradition of renaissance art, his paintings are a
testimony to the master artists. Ajinkya loves portraits, for him the still life, animals,
the people all have a life of their own. His paintings treat the non-human living as
subjects to his studies of light and colour, with quick strokes of paint replicating life on
canvas.
